I enjoyed starting off the New Year with an international group of Physical Therapist at a Rigo Concept L1 course in Boston. The students came in with the common goal of learning about how to manage the condition of scoliosis using Rigo Concept PSSE. Learning the Rigo Concept PSSE and then practicing assessment and treatment was the focus of our course. However, additional benefits of our time together were building connections with each other, discussing case management, sharing ideas about how to build a specialized scoliosis professional team back at their home clinics, and deciding how to stay connected after the course to keep learning from each other. L1 builds a strong foundation for physical therapists to jump back into the clinic the week after the course with skills for treatment and management of the scoliosis condition using scoliosis specific physical therapy. I look forward to working with this fine group of therapists as they advance to their case studies and onto L2. Happy New Year!
